Gratitude – Week 30

Summer is my favorite time of year, and it seems to fly by.  What I want are lazy summer mornings, more time outside with the kids, and just more fun….and yes we do have some of that, but our days fill up!  Soon it will be back to school shopping and soccer practice, I want to slow down a little bit and cherish this time with my babies.

You will never have this day with your child again.

You will never have this day with your child again.  Tomorrow they will be a little older than they were today.  This day is a gift!

Breathe and notice.

Smell and touch them.

Study their faces and little feet and pay attention.

Relish the charms of the present.

Enjoy today.  It will be over before you know it.

And never forget to tell them how much you love them EVERYDAY!

Happy 4th of July!
We celebrated with my parents….it was a bit chilly, but always nice to cookout.. enjoy great food and have great company!

Sunday family days!
Filled with bike rides, exploring new places, and helping our littlest sister explore her surroundings! I will not say that it is all roses and sunshine, there are tantrums, fighting between siblings and meltdowns mixed in to these days, but it is REAL, we do real, we take the good and bad and make memories that will last a lifetime!
